Attorney Michael A. Johnson

Michael A. Johnson has a very general legal career representing large clients in corporate law, where he has an extensive background with a career in the corporate arena for over 25 years. Mr. Johnson has also represented clients in family law, criminal law, civil law and real estate law, and currently has focused in a very specialized practice in estate planning in the drafting of revocable living trusts and wills, and other legal documents relating to this area. As part of his specialized practice in estate planning, he has handled hundreds of probate matters for his clients. His goal in his estate planning practice is to minimize his clients’ exposure to the probate process so that their assets pass to their heirs outside of the court process with minimal expense.

A native and longtime resident of Lakeland, Florida, he earned his undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida in 1974. He received his Master of Business Administration from Stetson University and graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctorate degree from the Stetson University College of Law. While attending law school, he worked for the Chief Judge of the 6th Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, assisting in the area of appellate review. He established his own practice after graduating from law school and being admitted to the Florida Bar. Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and various federal courts. Mr. Johnson also holds a Florida Real Estate Broker’s License and is a partner of the Pansler Law Firm to represent clients in personal injury and medical malpractice. He continues to maintain his specialized practice in estate planning and probate matters.

Mr. Johnson is very family-oriented and spends as much time as possible with his family. He’s a long-time member of Victory Church in Lakeland, has served on many charitable boards, and has belonged to various community organizations throughout his career.
